Josh had his 2ND quarter Awards this morning, and our little boy did very well. He was on the A/B Honor Roll and also got the Principal's Award!
Principal's Award: 6 E's out of 7 from Work Habits and Citizenship and remaining S's. He also got a Special Award that is called the "Coyote Award". This is an Award that is voted on by the kids in the class and the teacher.

A Day At The Doctors!

What a day! I can't remember the last time I was up and out of the house by 6:15am. Megan made a lot of friends today! They were nice enough to let Megan play with one of the scented masks, Megan picked the strawberry smell. Megan and the Anesthesiologist hit it off, lets just say she was walking down the hall with her before I could say "Goodbye". It took about 15 mins and when Dr. Holms came out to see me, she said the fluid that came out of her ears was "clear"! When Megan woke up they asked her who was with her and she said "Mommy" and they asked her what Mommy's name is, she said "Mommy" and the nurses loved it! In the recovery room she had no less then 3 nurses talking to her! And she got Pink ear plugs for the bathtub and swimming! She only slept about 20 mins on the way home, and for lunch requested McDonald's. And the girl was hungry!!

So I was home for a few hours before I had to go get Josh for his 6 yr check-up. He is about 3 1/2 ft tall and weighs 46 lbs! Megan tops the scale at 38 lbs! Joshs Doctor said, "Guess what! Josh, your perfectly normal!" Josh thought that was funny! But we did have to pee in a cup! And had blood taken!

Big Girl Bed??

Megan has been asking for a "big bed" like Josh for a while now, and I have been putting it off, do to the fact I could not find any bedding that I liked. But I was at Target yesterday and I saw it! So today after library, Megan and I went to Target and what does my eye see, but a "RED STICKER" on it. It was marked down from $79.00 to $39.00 SCORE!!! The girl at the check out could not believe it either.

In the photo it looks blue, but it is purple and matches her room beautifully! And Megan says it is "Beautiful"

Go Josh Go!!

It is hard to believe but another 9 weeks of school have gone by! Josh brought home his report card today! And we could not be happier! He is doing great. He had to read to his teacher last week, and by the end of the year he will be reading at a level C. Right now he is at level A. One day he will remember his "site words". And next week he will start adding and subtracting! Josh also made the A/B Honor Roll, that takes place next Friday.
Also we found out the Megan will have her surgery for her tubes on Thursday, we don't have a clue what time yet. It could be as early as 7:30 am!! Stay Tune!

Something New for Megan and Rebecca!

Megan said it was time for Rebecca to move into her own bed. Well Like everything at "American Girl" Beds are way way to $$$$$$. So I found a very very basic photo of a bed and well I work at a hardware store, so wood was easy to get! and On Dons days off he put the bed together.(Don't worry Grampa we have big plans for you when we get to NY!) Megan picked out the fabric at Hobby Lobby and she even helped me with the sawing machine!

Megan is a little hard to understand in the video, but she is telling you about Rebeca's bed, how daddy made and we painted white, and Rebecca's red bear and white cat and pony. And like her Mommy she rather do the video taping.

And Update..
Megan had a hearing test back in November during her 4 yr old check up and did not due to well on it. So we went to the Ear Noise and Throat Doctor and had a test,and she had fluid in her ears. The Doctor said to come back in 8 weeks to see if the fluid clears up. So today back to the ENT Doctor we went. Megan still has fluid in her ears, and the Doctor said the best thing is to have "Tubes" put in her ears. Stay tuned for an Megan Ear update!

Not sure what is Going on!

So I just longed on to my Blogger Page and what do I see, or what don't I see? That would be my videos.
I'm not sure what is going on yet. The videos that I uploaded to You Tube works but the Blogger one do not. I will fix this. Thanks Jennifer

We had to tame Rebecca's' wild hair today. Megan says she has wild hair like hers.

Happy 6th Birthday Joshua!

We celebrated Josh's 6Th Birthday at CICI Pizza, with a few of his good friend. Josh designed the cake. He told me what size and what colors and then he picked out all of the Lego that went on the cake.

And Now We Make Cake!

Yet Another Sad Day at the Alleys!

1st Thank You to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday, and for those who forgot, Don't worry I can't remember everyone either!
Our last bunny Willow has been sick for a while and just when we think it is over, he does a 360 and the next day is much better. Well today as Josh put it, "Willow is with God, hopping in the green field with Rascal! Now it is just Maxx and Cotton and 2 kids!!
