Domestic Project #1

I broke out the sewing machine today and this is what I came up with X 3!! I need to take Megans straps off and resew them. I think they look funny.

Preschool!!

Alright so Megan went Tuesday to meet her 2 new teacher, and before we even made it in the door she had a melt down! She was in a ball in the corner just crying! Don said she was "Over come with emotions!" Later at bedtime she told me that she was upset about her classroom and her teachers. She woke up and told me she was ready to go to school! She picked out her own clothing and made her lunch! And yes her "bff/bestie" Kenndey is her class. She has a small class this year 6 girls and 6 boys!

Megan's teachers told me she had a great day at school! And after school we had our 2nd speech therapy class with Miss Carrie. Carrie told us that Megan leaves off the final cluster of words, example if you show her a pix of a beach and a bee, she will say bee for them both, she is leaving off the "ch" sound, and if there is a 2 consonant word, like spoon, Megan leaves of the "s" and says poon. So Carrie said that all of Megan's sounds are there, we just have to reorganize it! Sound easy enough, but how do you reorganize a 4 year old??? We will have to see!!

1st Day of 1st Grade!

Alright, so believe it or not we had our 1st day of school today. Mrs. Maddox is his new teacher, and this is her 1st year with the school, and her 1st year as a 1st grade teacher. Lots of 1st here, and lots of new things we have to deal with. Josh's classroom is in one of the mobile trailers outside. He said that the a/c works every well. We have not received anything about what to look forward to this year, and we seem to think Josh will be eating lunch at about 10:30 am. We are going to have a hunger boy when he gets home! As we find things out about this school year we will pass it on!

We had a great time and it was an awesome game right up until the 10th inning, the Astros blew it! They gave up a GRAND SLAM!!

If you did not know or hear, Dons company was just purchased by an Airline based out of Utah. They also own an airline based in Atlanta. Yes this mean we MAY be moving to Atlanta, may being the key word! If we do get word we are moving..GOD I HOPE NOT! We will be setting up a "New House" Fund!! I can't see us moving into an apartment with 2 large dogs. So please feel free to send money, cash, checks and money order will be accepted! I mean come on who has the money to buy a house?? Not I!

Cousins!

While we were in NY Josh and Megan got to meet a lot of new people, including alot of new Cousins!
We went a few times to my very Best Friends/Cousins house, who's name is believe it or not Jennifer. Just a few facts for you, we had like 16 people in our graduating class (I think, I really can't remember) We had 3 Jennifer's in the class!! Jennifer has 3 boys Stephen 7 or 8 (I think), Ethan 6 and Carson 3(I think). The boys had so much fun! It seems all boys at this age like to play with guns!! We went swimming and just had lots of fun. It was great to catch up with Jen also.





Megan was not forgotten when it came to Cousins and playing with them. My sister Daphne has a little girl who is only about one month older then Megan and her name is Rhyleigh. Rhyleigh has a little brother Parker, but he did not want his photo taken! Tammy, sorry about the mess they made! Megan asked me the other day if Rhyleigh could come to her birthday party!! They both have alot incommon including wild hair!!

All along we knew we were going to go to the American Girl Store in Atlanta and we knew Kit was going to make the trip to New York with us. And we had asked Grampa to make bunk beds for Megan's Doll. I am kicking myself because I did not take pix for Grampa making them. Also while we were in NY I came across a yard sale that had "American Girl" items in it. I was able to get "Snowflake", the pony. And she was a steal!!
