Letters to Santa

I finally got Megan to finish writing her letter to Santa. I think she started it about 5 days ago. And today we took them to Macys and Macys is donating a $1.00 to the "Make a Wish Foundation" for each letter that is mailed to Santa from their stores.

Sing Megan Sing!

Today at Megan's preschool was her Christmas Concert. She could not wait to wear her "Pretty Christmas Dress to school" The little girl standing next to her is Kennedy and the two of the are very good friends! She had a lot of fun and our personal favorite song here on Log Cabin Lane is "Chubby Little Snowman" Enjoy the video.

Got to Love Christmas Songs!

So over the last few Saturdays we have had the radio on at lunch, and about the same time each Saturday they have played the same Christmas song and both Josh and Megan love it! And I found a cute youtube video to go with it. Enjoy!

Snowman!

It has been a quite week here on Log Cabin Lane. One of the things that we do every week is go to our local library for "Story Time" and Miss Jo is great! She comes up with great crafts for the kids to do. Well this week we did an AWESOME craft!! It was a snowman!

She took one large men's sock and filled it up with horse feed, and about the middle of the sock we wrapped a rubber band around it to make the 2 "snowballs". Then we rubber banded that top so nothing would fall out. We folded down the "cuff" of the sock to make the hat. Miss Jo cut our scarfs out of felt and then 2 googlies eyes and of course the "Megan touch" the purple nose. We will be making one with Josh, but first we need to find some filling for our snowman. I was thinking maybe beans or corn for the filling.
