And boy did we party! Next time we have a party like that I think I'm going to rent out a bigger house! I think everyone had a goodtime. And I want to thank everyone who came and who brought a gift for the birthday girl!! Thank you so much!!!

2 Little Pumpkins

We had a beautiful day here in Houston and I had the day off so Don and I decide when he got home from work we would take the kids to the pumpkin patch. But first we need to find a pumpkin patch that did not charge you to walk through their front door. That is right I said charge!! We found 2 of them, and they were about 30 Min's from us. When we got to the first one they just had about 3 dozen pumpkins sitting on hay bails. Nothing like rulfs orchard back in New York. So after I got the kids in the middle of the pumpkins and took a few pix, and we were walking away, I hear the owner say "DON'T STAND ON THE PUMPKINS" I looked at Don and said "I guess I got some people in trouble!" The 2ND place we went to was a little better, they had a path set up with place that you could take pix along the way. That is where we got out pumpkins. I touched up only a few of the photos, so enjoy!

"Super Star"

In Josh's Tuesday folder I got a little note that said he had been selected to be The Super Star for next week. We filled out a poster that asked questions about what Josh liked. I emailed Mrs Saunders and asked how they pick the student. She said that the office picks them and that he is the 1st from his class. Friday is the last day of the 1st quarter. So next week be on the look out for a report card update. FYI you can click on the photos to make them bigger.

King Ranch Chicken

Josh made dinner tonight! Thank you to Ms. Julie for the "King Ranch Chicken recipe". I think he had alot of fun making it.

Shopping with Megan!

Megan and I went to the store today to get the items for dinner and lunch for the next few days. And Megan pushed the shopping cart all through the store. And me without my "flip" so I used my phone for a little video and a few pix .She has a pony in her bag that is over her shoulder

Another Rough Week at the Alley House

Alright, lets just say it has not been a fun week here. I never go to bed before 10:30pm and on Tuesday I was in bed at 10pm and at 11:30pm Josh came in to my room and said he threw-up. So Don was with Josh in our bathroom and I went into his. Lets just say we got the carpet cleaner out. Josh stayed home from school on Wednesday. And Thursday we all went to school and about 2:45pm Megan said she didn't want to take a nap and then she said her tummy hurts. Well she had been saying that for the last 2 days (Josh was sick). She sat on my lap and then she let it all go. I really thought her head was going to spin around on her shoulders! Well let just say Don and I both were sick that night and I called in sick 2 work.(I only worked 2 days this week and called in sick for one of them) Today Megan is back to her old self.

UPDATE Just when I think we are all getting better Josh woke from little nap and how he is on the couch saying his tummy hurts.

Megan

As I was changing the background on the Blog, I realized that most of the updated have been with or about Josh. Megan has been doing a lot of coloring and "writing" with markers the last few days. She also has been writing her name and today she was asking me about spelling other words and did ask me how to write some of the letters. Then she showed me this!!
