Lake Champlain

We took the kids down to Essex so they could toss rocks in Lake Champlain. Josh remembered throwing the rock in the lake last time we were here. And on a side note it only took 40 mins to upload 2 photos on Moms dial-up!

We are on our way to New York and made our first stop in Atlanta to see Liz and Little Grace. Liz took some pixs of the kids tonight, they had a lot of fun. To get to the photos just click on the word "pixs". We did teach Grace how to say "NO". Sorry Matt!

Beautiful Black Swallowtail Butterfly!!

So about the 25th of May, Don found a big green caterpillar in the front yard. So he and the kids decided to keep it in one of the bug houses we have. We were hoping that it would be a butterfly before we went to NY. Well we came down stairs this morning and we had a Beautiful Butterfly in the little cage. So outside we go with our "FLIP" and my phone.

Great Job Josh!!

I'm having a hard time believing that Josh is a few days away from completing his 1st year of school! And this last quarter he did an awesome job! He made the A/B Honor Roll, the Principals Award and he got the Math Award this quarter! He also got a 100 on his distract Math test, this test was on material for the WHOLE YEAR!!! Josh is also reading to us at night. He was tested at school and is requaried to be reading at a level "D". He is reading 100% at a level "E" and he is at 85% for a level "F". Now a level "D" is the begining of 1st grade, and a level "E" is about the middle of 1st grade. So we just have to keep hom reading over the summer and working on his sight words.
At the awards ceramoney Mrs. Saunders told me that her class is the only class that everyone got an award!
Sorry about the "back School" layout, it is only "school layout" I could find.
