The kids had a Dentist appointment today. And the Doctor was very very pleased with the kids teeth. She said they are doing a great job brushing! I took pictures of there x-rays. The kids said it was really cool to see their teeth!

Megan can't wait to go to preschool. She has been working on spelling and recognizing her name and she is doing a great job of it.

Pizza!!??

The other day Josh asked me when he could bake something and put it on the blog. He wanted to make blueberry pancakes. I thought that would have been a little to much for him, so I said how about pizza! and this was not what he was thinking. But he had so much fun with it. and yes it is "Mighty Tasty"
I have been trying to upload this video for 2 days now. I guess the video was bigger then I thought, once again I had to split it into 2 videos.






Also I went to 4 stores today and on one at any of the stores knew anything about the tablets and unruled composition book were

School Supplies!

If you didn't know Josh will be starting Kindergarten this year and he has a school supply list that he has to have for the 1st day of school. I could have got it thought school for a price of $40.00, right do I look like I'm made of money! This list is unbelievable. I was in Walmart for 1 hour and could only find crayons(I need 4 boxes of 24 ct. Crayola Crayons)And scissors and a green pencil box. Look at this list!! Please, I pay school taxes you mean to tell me that the school can't supply construction paper for a kindergartner.

I have no idea what these are and let just say Walmart doesn't have them out with there school stuff or in the office stuff. So we have to go to office store. I don't think any of this is going to be on sale.

Ham Sandwich

We went out for lunch on Thursday, and Lets just say Josh thought his Ham sandwich was "MIGHTY TASTY"

New Color, New Layout!

Ok I had, had enough of the stripes so I changed it up! And just for a few people, I kept the bubble game. It is s little to big for the sidebar, but you can still play it on full screen. I also found the fish which you can feed! Have fun. Josh wants to bake for everyone! Stay tune for that.

Sweet Peas' Swimwear!

After having the same Dora the Explore swimsuit for 2 years, Megan got a new Swimsuit. And after dinner she had to check it out. Enjoy the video.

Cooking with Josh- Banana Hotdog Sandwich

I had so much fun making this video. And I can tell you so did Josh and Megan. However, the file was to big to load up as one video, so I put to on in two parts.

Josh wanted to make this sandwich that he saw on the Disney Channel. As you will see it was "Mighty Tasty".




Josh has watched the video and is very very proud of it! He wanted to make Don the sandwich but we used the last banana to make the video. So please enjoy and Josh said just to let him know and he will email you the directions. And he is already thinking of more things to make you everybody!

July 4th

We made a Flag Cake to go with our dinner on the 4Th. The cake was a yellow cake that I frosted with Whip Cream and then Josh and Megan added the Blueberries and Strawberries on it. The kids had a blast making it!



And a little playing outside after dinner.

Megans New Library Book Bag!

For the last 2 years we have been going to Story Time at the Tomball Library. Megan and I would go when Josh was at school and Josh comes with us when he is out of school. Megan saw this little girl a few weeks ago that had a "Princess Bag." As I was looking at it, I saw that it was handmade. So I made Megan one!


I think I am going to add patches to the bag as we find them.

Happy 4th!

So my camera has been sitting by the tv collecting dust. So this morning we had a "photo shoot" With the kids red, white and blue! Megan got a new "pretty dress" For the 4th and Josh pulled out one of his red shirts and favorite puppy dog! And I made the red, white and blue hair bows in Megans hair! I only got a chance to touch up a few of the photos. I had to put the goofy photos of Josh in there. He is such a ham! Megan she had a hard time, she didn't want to get her pix taken this time around.

Quiet week at the Alleys

It has been a very quiet week on Log Cabin Lane, we have been trying to keep cool. We have had 8 days of 100 plus temps and 21 consecutive days of 97 plus temps. It is 10:22 central time and it is still 91 outside. And they are saying it will be about 100 to 105 for the 4Th.
So we have been putting together Lego, STILL!
