One Busy Week!

We had a very busy week! We had a Pack Meeting, then a Den Meeting,a Girl Scout Meeting, a Push Cart race, and then a 1st Birthday party!
Megan had her 1st Girl Scout Meeting Thursday night. We have 9 girls and they had so much fun makeing "Snowgirls"





























One of the events that the Boy Scouts have every year is called "PushCart" This year they had 500 scout registered for the event.Rather then try to explain it, take a look at the photo!
After the races we went to Parkers 1st birthday party at Aunt Jennys!

Rainy Saturday

We had a rainy do nothing Saturday, Josh watched Indiana Jones all day! Thanks USA network! and Megan had a tea party, and yes she is rockin the 80's side pony tail! And NOT HER BEST PHOTO SHOOT!

Future Fashion Designer!

Megan got a Barbie fashion design sketch book for her birthday, she has been drawing in it the past few days! Here are some of her designs! Barbie is already on the page, she uses the stencil to add the clothing and then she colors and adds some accessories, which are stickers!

Buffalo Bucks!

If you don't know Josh is in 2nd grade this year. And 2nd grade is proving to be a challenge for him. He is doing great in Science, Social Studies(high 93). Math is 88, But Reading is turning into our nemesis! It seems that our 1st grade teacher was not as helpful with Josh as she led us to beleive! He pulled out an 81 but I have know idea how he did it! And to top it all off, after the 1st of the year his teacher will not read anymore of the tests to him!

All of the 2nd graders has a chance to earn "Buffalo Bucks". Buffalo Bucks are money with a Buffalo on it. The kids earn bucks when they follow the rules, good listening, ect. ect ect. At the end of the quarter, you need to have 75 Buffalo Bucks to go to the 2nd grade party. Anything over 75 is used for the auction! Well I must have a really great kid, because he got to go to the auction with 145 Buffalo Buck! And he say what he wanted and did not spend any of his bucks until they called "The Crayola Crayon Maker"

Biscuit!

After about 8 weeks of school Megan came to me and said she wanted to read "Biscuit".  Biscuit is an "I can read book level 1".  It has a lot of Megan sight words in it.  She had a few words that she had trouble with, but now she is a pro! I told her we need to find her another Biscuit book to read!  And yes she has the Hiccups!

Just 'Cause

Megan had to decorate a pumpkin for her class. She told me that she wanted diamonds on it! So we blinged it out!



It was not long ago Megan use to cry when she saw the Giant Cow at Chick-fil-a. Today she gave the Cow high-five and told her "she liked her bow!"

Cake Pops

For the last few weeks I have been seeing "Cake Pops", so I went to Kohls and got a cake pop maker! (3 shirts for Don and paid $24.00!!! What a deal!)










I did not have any frosting or anything to make frosting, so I dipped them in chocolate and put sprinkles on them. Josh wants to make Donut holes and put filling in them!

Soccer Time!

As you can see the kids started soccer for the fall. The church moved the cut off age to 8 so Josh can play this time. Also Josh and Megan are on the same team, so I can be their coach! No one wanted to coach Josh's team, so we moved Megan over and well we will see how it goes!
