DIY Part 2

With all of the work we have been doing on the house I have been doing a lot of painting. I repainted the downstairs and painted over where Josh wrote his name over the bar. I had done a blog post about it almost 2 years ago! "He Did What?"
As I painted over it I realize that this is not really my house anymore, I just live here. I have taken down all my photos from the wall and packed up a ton of personal items! Let see if we can sell this house!

Cub Scout Graduation!

Josh had his Cub Scout Graduation, and he is no longer a Tiger Cub he is now a Wolf! Josh will still be in Scout this fall, but Don and I will not be leaders do to the fact we don't know if we are going to be here in Houston!

What a Smart Girl!

With Megan starting school in the fall, we have been working on reading, sight words and putting our sounds together! She is doing a great job! She wanted me to tape her reading. Yes she has the hiccups, and she likes to add words to the story, but she did read the words on the page! When she watched it over she was very upset that I did not tape the whole story!!

My New Toy!

I have been thinking about getting a new "Flip" Video Camera for a while now. And for Mothers Day I got a new one! But this one I got to design myself! It is much smaller then my old one and it comes in HD!! I found a cool pink butterfly design and uploaded it to the flip website. The sad thing is that my blog is not in HD!

DIY Network At The Alley House!

So last month Josh watched the DIY network any chance he got. His favorite show is "House Crashers" with contractor Josh Temple! On his show, he has a camera crew at Home Depot, Lowes, IKEA, and other home stores and scours for his latest homeowner victim. Once a victim is found, Josh and crew have three days to completely remake a room. Now I have worked at Home Depot for almost 5 years and I have NEVER seen him in my store! Now with that beening said, we have some work to do in our house and Josh is all over it!
