A Sad Day at the Alley House!

We are sad to say that not only did Farrah and Michael pass away today. But Rascal did too. Don and I decided last week that Rascal was just not getting any better. So Don took him to see our Vet this afternoon. And he is now resting in a spot that Josh picked out for him in the backyard. Josh had a great idea of taking some pictures of him and Rascal so he can put them in his room.

So I know I have not lived in New York for a long time now, And I should be use to the heat here in Houston. But enough is enough. It is only June and we have not seen rain in about a month!! and this is the forecast for the week

And this doesn't include the humidity!

Update on Legos!

He did what?

I know most of you have never been in our house, so if you are in the kitchen you can look through the bar opening and see into the living room.




So the other night I am talking to Don in the kitchen and just happened to look up and this is what I saw....




I wanted to wake the kid up and ask him what he was thinking. Don said Josh will say Megan did it. I could not help but laugh. So the next morning we asked Josh and he said he got on the counter and wrote his name, while I was blowdrying my hair. He told me he could not find any paper!!

Corn!

About a week ago we picked out corn from the garden. Megan was a big help!

The next video is Josh telling you about corn, You have to watch the end of it. As you can see Josh is not a fan of corn.

LEGO!!!

Alright enough is enough. We have way to many Lego's sets. See what happens is that Josh will get a Lego Set and within the next week it is taken apart. And then it get put in the big blue tote! So out of all the Legos we have, about 85% of them are taken apart and are living in the blue tote. Don is now trying to put them back together! I think Don was thinking that the Lego fairy would come a put them back together. Not going to happen. I will keep you updated!

I think she is part fish!

We went to "The Mart" on Friday and we got the kids a pool.(Nothing to big) After we filled it up Josh was in it for about 15 mins. Megan, well I think she is part fish. I could not get her out of it. At one point she had her whole head underwater and was blowing bubbles. I took alot of videos.

Dressmaker??

Ok, I have been hearing about "Pillow Case" Dresses, and after looking at them on the net I said "I can make that". Well first you need a pillow case. I could not find any that I liked. So I used some fabric that I had. What a pain in the butt!! I am not a dressmaker at all. You see I can't sew in a straight line. Next time I want to make a dress I'm using a pillowcase, All I would have to do to it is make the arm holes.

This is one of dresses that I found on the net. I added the site to the blogs that I follow.


Next I am going to try and make hair bows. And Grace when you have a little more hair I will send you some.

Concerns regarding the Blog!

I have had some serious concerns emailed to me regarding the blog. I am sorry to say THE BUBBLE GAME is NOT going anywhere!!! It is going to be staying on the Blog. I was thinking of adding another mindless game to play. So for now please enjoy the bubbles, it is lots of fun.

Country Time

OK so our local grocery store add came out last week and they had Country Time Lemonade and Pink Lemonade on sale for 10 for $10.00. So I started looking for Country Time Coupons, And I found out when you buy 2 at a time you get a $1.00 off coupon for your next purchase. So to make a long story short I got 20 Country Time Lemonade for $10.77, If I would have bought them at full price I would have paid $63.00 for them. We will see how long the Lemonade will last here in this house.
