When Don went back to Texas, the kids and I played tourist. We went to Fort Ticonderoga. And I hate to say that I lived 45 mins from the place and had never been! If you are a fan of the show "Ghost Hunters" you may have seen the episode that they did in the Fort. And yes they did find some Paranormal activity!!
The Fort is really cool, the kids had a lot of fun. Josh did say that it is really small. They also have a beautiful garden area, called the King's Garden and there is a awesome house that has a historical marker the state: Near here on July 30,1609 Samuel De Champlain aided by two Frenchmen and Huron and Montagnais allies defeated a band of Iroquois Warriors. And the house was built by Champlain. Josh did say he would like to go back. I did take a lot of pix.
